Power Seeds market and distribute a wide range of sheep wires to co-operatives and merchants nation-wide. We distribute both the
Trefil Arbed and Tinsley range.
Light sheep wires are available in 50 yard rolls from 24 to 45
inches in height, with a 6 inch box. Light sheep wire is used primarily for
temporary fencing or for patching up a boundary or internal fence.
Heavy / medium sheep wires are available in mild steel and high
tensile. Heavy sheep wire is used as a permanent stock fence. High tensile
sheep wire comes in 100 metre rolls. High tensile sheep wire is very convenient for ensuring a long-life
stock
fence that will remain as well-strained as the day it was put up.
All the Trefil Arbed sheep wires come with factory-fitted gripples
for ease
of tensioning and joining rolls. Both Trefil Arbed and Tinsley sheep wires conform to the highest of
Irish and European standards. Barbed Wire
Power Seeds market and distribute a wide range of barbed wires to
suit every need and eventuality. All of our barbed wires are fully grant
approved, with the exception of our 3-inch commercial barbed wire which is
manufactured to American Din standard.
We distribute both Tinsley and our own Diamond brand of barbed wire
to all the co-operatives and Merchant stores throughout the country. Barbed
wire is sold in 200 metre rolls and available in both mild steel and high
tensile. High tensile barbed wire is being increasingly used by
contractors
due to the fact that once strained it does not stretch or slacken.
Plain Wire
We distribute the full range of plain wires from Tying wire to Bull
wires. All the plain wires are manufactured to full Irish and
European standards.  Netting wire
The complete range of netting wire that we distribute is of the
highest
quality conforming to Irish and European Standards. Netting wire is
available in a range of heights from 36 inches up to 72 inches, with
meshes
from ½ inch to 3 inches to suit every need. We also distribute Rabbit netting which is of a heavier gauge (19G)
and is
42 inches high with a 1 ¼ inch mesh. Rabbit netting is specifically
designed
to last longer above and below the soil.  Chainlink
We distribute a huge range of both Trefil Arbed and Tinsley
chainlink fencing. All of our chainlink is in 25 metre rolls. Chainlink is available in
a range of heights from 36 inches to 96 inches. All sizes are available in 14 gauge (light), 12 gauge (heavy) and
10 gauge (very heavy). The rolls of chainlink are available in a choice of finishes -
galvanised or PVC-coated. All the chainlink that we distribute is manufactured to both Irish
and European Standards. |
