Lux has again given the top yields of
good quality malting barley in the most recent harvest. Lux has
excellent straw strength also. It is giving equivalent yields to the
top feeding barley varieties and so can be grown as malting or
feeding barley.

Feltwell Spring Barley
This is a new French variety which
has
exceptional yield potential and has given the top yields in Power
Seeds and
Department of Agriculture trials. Feltwell has very stiff, short
straw and
has good disease resistance. As well as giving top yields of quality
grain,
Feltwell is also showing great promise in malting tests.
Feltwell is a promising new variety that is likely to give greater
returns to spring barley growers in the future.
Spring Wheat
Baldus Spring Wheat:
Has high yield potential
Is a top milling and bread-making quality
Is the earliest ripening variety, which is important for attaining
bread-making quality.
